The foundation of MKM Construction was laid over a decade ago, but the passion behind our work reaches much further back. Our founder, Matt, developed a strong interest in construction during his teenage years, spending his early days on job sites, learning every facet of the trade from the ground up. Those formative years instilled in him not only technical skill, but also a deep respect for craftsmanship, teamwork, and integrity.

After gaining hands-on experience in the construction industry, Matt made the honorable decision to serve his country. He dedicated the next ten years of his life to the U.S. military, completing two combat tours—one in Iraq and one in Afghanistan. This chapter of his life shaped his character, instilling values of discipline, leadership, and resilience that would later form the backbone of MKM Construction.

Upon returning home, we felt a renewed sense of purpose and a strong desire to build something meaningful—something that would stand the test of time. What began as small remodeling projects gradually evolved into large-scale custom home builds. Through hard work, perseverance, and a commitment to excellence, our business grew one client, one project, and one relationship at a time.

Over the years, we have encountered and overcome many challenges. Each project has taught us valuable lessons, and with every success—and every setback—we have refined our process, elevated our standards, and deepened our commitment to our clients.
